Community. That’s why Shimano first assembled the Gravel Alliance back in 2018. We wanted to get to know the gravel community and learn how to best support the adventurous individuals in it through product development, athlete and event sponsorship, and storytelling. Along the way we’ve learned to invite newcomers to join the fun, launched new components and gear, and grown our gravel family. Which brings us to 2022.

Shimano is honored to announce its new 2022 Gravel Alliance roster. With gratitude to our first Gravel Alliance class, and after a tearful goodbye, we invited a new set of gravel ambassadors into the fold. Drawing from different regions, experiences, and even roles within the community, this group embodies the very best aspects of the gravel cycling world. Bound by a love of exploration, personal discovery, and with a spirit of camaraderie, Shimano couldn’t be prouder of the people who signed up to help us spread the love in the gravel scene.
